Personality: Much like a Scorpion, Yamiko would rather kill herself than be killed. Like those born under this Sign she strives to be in ultimate control of her destiny. Often quick promote her agenda to see to it that things go forward. Others may find her overbearing and even self-destructive, but that's the beauty of this senshi. Fearless, she rarely loses, per se -- she just keep on going. And she can be very stubborn and determined. Nonetheless it's her unswerving courage that wins so many folks over.
Yamiko's intense, passionate and filled with desire yet dignified and strong. Not afraid to flirt with young men or any young women whom she finds active. She tends to be somewhat complex and secretive -- so don't expect to get much out of her, lest they become suspicious and exit stage left. As serious Scorpion stings lead to paralysis Selket's powers are a play on her name's meaning "tightens the throat". On the other hand her gifts allow her to heal her fellow team mates from various poisons -- nothing more nothing less.

Her mother, Mai Aichika, was the daughter of a poor rice farmer. Her eyes, similar to her daughters, are a rich ruby hue. Her hair color is a dark brown color with a thick wavy texture. A short female with a very shapely figure. She grew up a worker in the rice paddies. Later becoming a simple homemaker after the birth of her first child. She has a soft personally, and rarely raises her voice even when upset. A very caring women who often had to protect her children from their fathers temper. Unlike her husband, she tends to be more open minded.

At the age of fifteen she switched from home schooling to a normal junior high school. Because of her mother's attention to her studies she did somewhat well in her classes -- though she never was really able to make any true friends expect with one person,

This young woman is following a deeper sense with in her... something from within her star-seed? Or something of a more sinister nature -- yet that rains to be seen.
A loner by nature, this senshi isn't interested in teaming up with anyone. Upon her arrival she began to develop a distrust of all of the main planet senshi. She seeks to follow her darker nature -- she only needs guidance. When her powers do fully awaken she will be under Akiraka... and perhaps get the training she needs?
